Sinopse: A série narra a vida de duas garçonetes Max Black (Kat Dennings), uma garota pobre e Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs) que nasceu rica mas perdeu tudo. As duas se tornam amigas quando começas a trabalhar juntas em um restaurante. Elas tem um sonho de abrir uma loja de Cupcakes, para isso precisam juntar 250 mil dólares. O humor da série se dá principalmente nos momentos em que Max apresente a Caroline coisas do dia a dia de um bairro pobre, que ela nunca havia vivenciado e Caroline apresenta a Max costumes da classe A.
